I started my journey with leather in 2013. No fancy labels, no brand names, just understanding the intricacies of this amazingly versatile material by visting tanneries and being with artisans that worked it all day, everyday. During this period I was also fortunate enough to travel, from Florence to Tokyo and many places in between. I visited designers, boutiques, exhibitions and factories and learnt the most important thing: quality always wins. It taught me everything I know today about choosing artisans over labels, grade over brand names and passion over money. If I drop a new product, I do it only with materials I would gift a cherished family member. I do it with respect for the artisans who make it by paying them fairly and of course, with obsessive attention to it's details. There's no middlemen and no cutting corners. It's just me and the people who make the product, i.e. the tanners, the artisans, and the factories. That's it. Every thought, every idea and every alteration is communicated to the people who make it with their hands and that's how I always want it to be.

Our loafers are imported exclusively from Italy and made by the reputed BRUNOS, Firenze. The main ingredients of our shoes are the best Italian leathers and the experience of the artisans who make them. No two are identical, and that is precisely the point.
A coin, a payphone,
a century of style.
In the 1950s, American college students discovered that the diamond slot atop their shoe was the exact size to hold a coin.
Students tucked a penny into each shoe's slot to ensure they always had emergency change to call home from a payphone. The price of the call has long since changed — but the trend stuck, giving birth to the globally iconic Penny Loafer.
